Program Information

REEDS is running several programs in the fields of education, residential care, health and women self-help groups.

Most of our activities take place around the Annai Childrens Home at Panjapatty. The home provides a place for about 60 children from the Dharapuram region. It’s a safe haven for these children to live, play and learn within several local organized activities. The activities as mentioned below are very much intertwined with each other.

Ongoing activities:

• Rehabilitation of the disabled children through special education with residential care & support.
• Support the most needy and disadvantaged children (Dalits) obtaining proper education.

• Promotion of rural poor women self-help-groups.
• Sustainable agricultural programs through training and demonstration.
• Alliance of 10 NGOs working for marginalized people in 10 Districts of Tamil Nadu.
